During Frieze Week, amongst hundreds of art openings throughout the city, the most brilliant event was last Friday night at Sotheby’s when Banksy’s beloved iconic painting “Girl With Balloon” was auto-shredded by its own frame just minutes after the hammer came down on auction record of £1.04m.
